Mawlana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi University, since its establishment in 1386 AH, has been trying to provide decent services to the people of this land with effective activities and providing better educational services. Over a decade of work experience and activity, many achievements and initiatives have been granted to Mawlana University in the light of the prudent guidelines of the Ministry of Higher Education of the country. During this long period, Mawlana Jalaluddin Muhammad Balkhi University has also provided valuable services in the fields of serving the needy people and young people who do not have financial means, and has tried as much as possible so that no young person in this country is deprived of the umbrella of science and knowledge. Therefore, there was an urgent need to prepare an identity document for the introduction of this scientific institution, so that it would reflect the full view of the activity and performance of this university. Different sections of the catalog contain introduction letters of different fields of university activity, with the text; Pictures and tables are explained. Important branches have been introduced separately and contain all sub-departments; Universities; Committees and centers that operate within the framework of this university.

In preparing this catalog, the cultural committee of the university, the leadership of professors and professors played a key role, for which I express my gratitude. I still expect all the lords of grace not to spare their wise and good ideas in enriching this catalog as much as possible.

Mawlana Jalaluddin Muhammad Balkhi University is one of the best and most standard private universities in the country. This university started its activities in 2005 AH with a license from the Ministry of Higher Education. During many years of activity; This scientific institution has reached high levels of progress and progress during its one decade of work experience and now five faculties (medical medicine, law and political science, economics, journalism, and education) are operating in its frameworks. It has also undergone necessary changes and developments in various fields. For this reason and with better quality of services, this scientific institution was able to upgrade from (Institute) to (University) in 1392 H.H. During this period, hundreds of people have graduated from different fields of this university and are busy in public and private institutions. Mawlana Jalaluddin Muhammad Balkhi University has set quality as the criterion of its activities and tries to facilitate the education fields for young people with a new and effective approach.

Faculties

In the framework of Mawlana Jalaluddin Muhammad Balkhi University, considering the labor market and the scientific needs of society, five faculties have been established at different stages of time, which are: medical medicine, law and political science, economics, journalism, and education. Those who are interested can enroll in Mawlana Jalaluddin Muhammad Balkhi University’s entrance exam and pass it successfully to enter their desired colleges.

Mawlana Jalaluddin Muhammad Balkhi University is a non-governmental institution that operates based on the laws and regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and other laws in force in the country.

Graduates of the twelfth grade can be included in the five universities according to their entrance exam score, and in addition to the graduates of the 12th grade, the graduates of the 14th grade of teacher training can also be included in the 15th grade in this university and complete their education.

Board of Trustees

  • The Board of Trustees is the highest leading and decision-making authority in Mawlana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi University.
  • The board of trustees has the following composition:
  1. One of the founders of Mawlana Jalaluddin Muhammad Balkhi University as the president.
  2. President of Mawlana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi University as secretary
  3. Three professors with the scientific rank of a professor or higher, with at least a master’s degree, including one of them with the scientific rank of a professor.
  4. Two people from the commercial-industrial sector or representatives of relevant institutions
  5. One distinguished student based on the nomination of the student association for one year;
  6. The members listed in paragraphs 3 and 4 of this article cannot be among the employees of Mawlana University.
  • The chairmanship of the board of trustees is the responsibility of the founder mentioned in paragraph (1) of this article;
  • Decisions in the board of trustees are made with the majority of the votes present;
  • According to its calendar, the meetings of the board of trustees are normally held once each semester and in necessary cases, in an extraordinary way, with the presence of at least two-thirds of its members.
  • Extraordinary meetings can be held at the invitation of the chairman, secretary, or two-thirds of the members.

Job Description of the university Chancellor:

  1. Legal representation from the university;
  2. Presiding over the meetings of the academic council of the university and supervising the implementation of its decisions;
  3. Supervising the implementation of matters related to university vice-chancellors, universities, and other relevant institutions;
  4. Monitoring and taking care of the provision of social and welfare services in the university;
  5. Administration of financial affairs, accounting, assets, and properties of the university;
  6. Ensuring order and discipline and facilitating a suitable work environment in the university;
  7. Adopting the necessary measures and providing facilities to improve the academic, educational, and research situation in the university;
  8. Taking care and respecting the principles of academic freedoms in the university;
  9. Adopting measures and developing the necessary plans and programs to increase the university’s revenues and assets through the implementation of scientific research, publications, educational courses, and the establishment of production institutions;
  • Establishing and consolidating scientific relations with peer institutions at the national and global levels;
  • Attracting financial and technical assistance from domestic and foreign individuals and institutions according to the law;
  • Signing scientific and research fellowship contracts according to the law;
  • Approving or referring the decisions and resolutions of the academic councils of universities for review to the university’s academic council;
  • Necessary actions regarding the appointment of academic staff;
  • Necessary actions have been taken concerning the recruitment of scientific staff;
  • Necessary actions regarding the use of academic and short-term scholarships;
  • Representation of the university in staff trips abroad if necessary and creating duties;
  • Adopting the necessary measures to improve the service situation and maintain and care for the university;
  • Necessary actions in appreciation and praise of deserving employees of the university;
  • Necessary actions regarding long-term, medium-term, and short-term development;
  • Project plans and programs of university activities to the General Assembly of Professors, the University Academic Council, and the Ministry of Higher Education;
  • Submitting a report on the university’s activities to the General Assembly of Professors, the University’s Academic Council, and the Ministry of Higher Education;
  • Observing and monitoring the implementation of the law of equal and fair treatment of all university employees before the law;
  • Having constant attention to meet the academic, welfare, and health needs of institutions and university employees;
  • Supervising the activities of the academic assistantship, student affairs, financial and administrative affairs, and their related institutions;
  • Supervision of university performances;
  • Other duties assigned to the university president according to the law.
