Economy Faculty

Faculty of Economics

The Message of the Dean of Faculty,

When a person starts studying economics, he probably asks himself why he studies economics. Understanding the role of the government and the challenges facing the global market are two of the main reasons that people turn to economics. Some study economics hoping to earn more money; others are worried that they will be considered illiterate if they do not understand the laws of supply and demand; and many people are interested in knowing how to improve the environment.

Or why the inequality of income distribution has grown so fast in recent years in countries around the world. All the above reasons tell us that there are many and important reasons to learn economics. Also, if he wants to talk about financial issues and the economic situation, such as government budget cuts, taxes, free trade, inflation, and unemployment, to make decisions, this is the way to have access to the field of economics.

Choosing a job in life is the most important economic decision that students make. The future of students depends not only on their ability but also on how economic forces beyond their control affect their wages. According to the reasons mentioned above, we can say that economics is an interesting field in addition to being useful in its own right. The next generation of students is often surprised to find out how interesting and exciting the study of economics can be.
