Job description of Curriculum and Syllabus Development Committee
The improvement of the quality of the educational system requires the adoption of measures and measures to improve the standard, effective curriculum, and regulations according to the needs of the people of the society. Mawlana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi University is determined to improve the quality of its curriculum to adopt a curriculum review committee at the university level. In addition, according to a certain plan jointly with the heads and administrators of the relevant academic departments, review the curriculum and syllabus for qualitative and quantitative defects and take steps for correction purposes.
The committee is obliged to operate according to the previous procedure:
• Examining the curriculum and the syllabus of the textbooks from the point of view of their compatibility according to the syllabus of the fields.
• Examining the volume of chapters and course materials following the number of credits set for each subject during the semester.
• Removing or moving class hours following the credit regulation.
• Existence of the curriculum of the relevant department following the credit regulation, syllabus, approved teaching materials, and supplementary materials.
• Examining the volume of lectures and curriculum following the number of credits of the same theme in the semester.
• Examining the content of the lectures and the curriculum of the topics in accordance with the field determined in the curriculum.
• How to adapt the curriculum, and the syllabus with the aim of determining the number of credits in each semester.
• Removing or increasing some topics, adaptations, or laboratory works according to the needs of the day.
