Pashto Branch Background:
The Department of Pashto has started its activities in the year 1982 in the structure of
Maulana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi University. The department has four faculty members,
who are in charge of teaching Pashto subjects.
Currently there are 3 active students who are studying in the afternoon.

Our vision is to establish the Pashto Department as a reputable academic center within the
Faculty of Education of Maulana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi University. Add information to
existing departments of education, training, arts and culture and set an example for other departments.

Our mission is to train genuine teachers, managers and professional cadres of higher education through
higher teaching, motivation and creativity, to conduct in-depth research. We play a vital role in the
development of language culture and the country.
