Mawlana University's History

Nearly forty thousand applicants for admission to higher education institutions did not manage to visit Afghan universities after the entrance examination, many of whom live in the north of the country.The University of Mowlana accepts students in two disciplines of journalism and law and political science and has since accepted students from Kunduz, Balkh, Faryab, Jawzjan and other areas of the country after taking a relatively easy exam.

The university, which has received its official certificate from the Ministry of Higher Education in Afghanistan, has accepted nearly 300 students.The opening of the university is a great news for many young people in Mazar-i-Sharif and neighboring provinces in northern Afghanistan who have not been able to reach other universities in the country.

Mawlana Principle

He says he has pledged to the Afghan Ministry of Higher Education to hire only masters who have a Master’s or PhD degree to create these colleges.This promise made Mr Yousafzai to go to masters from Iran, India and Tajikistan, who have a high degree of education, although no such people have ever been found.

The cost of a six-month scholarship at Rumi University is 15,000 AFN, equivalent to US $ 300.This is not a huge sum for some Afghans, but there are poor families who can not afford to pay for their children at private universities.

The first private university in Balkh province, north of Afghanistan, has begun its activities under the name of Mawlana Jalal al-Din Mohammed Balkhi.
