Bachelor’s and Master’s

Introducing of Bachelor

Bachelor term in higher education institute of Afghanistan in average of four years, eight semesters and bachelor terms two years four semesters.

Introducing credit systems:

Credit means credibility and in other hand it is a lesson plane according to the curriculum. The semester analysis is divided the content of each subject and curriculum. One credit per week of one hour fifty minutes of theoretical lessons and entire semester 16 hours of lessons take 50 minutes of theoretical lessons. Two hours of verification’s and or practical work in laboratory and 3 hours Such as, field work or clinical activity equivalent to compare one hour of lesson.

Semester: half year of lesson or semester is one of the two terms of educational year the students are doing one step of their education. One semester without examinations take 16 weeks of lessons.

Introducing of kinds and quantity of subjects:

Subjects of bachelor on basic subjects, professional subject, elective subject and containing of university subject. Fundamental subject maximum 30 percent, professional subject at least 50 percent and elective subjects containing of university subjects 12 percent. Monograph, presentation, Such as, governmental examination and completing of diploma project 8 percent bachelor term’s subject is containing.

Fundamental Subjects:

Fundamental subjects (core course) of subject their training for entering of fundamental subject and essential subject and fulfill the major of basic subject.

Certain professional subjects:

Certain professional subjects are called that certain necessity and makes unchangeable professions.

Elective Subjects:

Elective subjects are called that hold by educational sectors according to organized program.

Containing University Subjects:

Are subjects which are taught in entire faculties like: Islamic thoughts, modern history, foreign language, protecting of environment and computer.

Prerequisite Subjects:

Subjects are following the success that is essential before entering the subjects. Lack of cooperation success such subjects avoids of containing the students to fundamental subjects.

Succeeded Score:

Succeeded score is 55 for each subjects in addition of completing maximum 60 percent of general is necessary in every semesters.

Assessment of Subjects:

Final exam 60 percent

Midterm exam 20 percent

Practical work 20 percent

Subjects and courses don’t need for practical work assessment of maximum scores compare 80 percent failed whenever students in one or many subject that less of half credits of that semester is deprived absent or not able for obtaining of score in that subject is getting failed

Sending Out:

lack of completing in average of general semester in first turn gives oral warning by adding in result sheet and lack of completing in second turns that is being in two some semester courses written warning by adding in the result sheet by the teaching management and achieving of written commitment those in the middle of the semester exam they are given a second chance and their score is calculated from 75 percent.

Final semester exam and admission requirement the final exam is the test that ends of each selection according to its calendar taken from student’s term of final exam maximum three weeks’ admission requirement in final exam is completed at least 75 percent’s in its attendance sheet subject.

Deprivation of Final Exam:

Lack of fulfillment of attendance sheet in its subject at least 75 percent

Whenever in final exam in more than two subjects get less score 50

Whenever in conditional exam firstly in more than one subject get less of so score

Whenever in one subject in conditional exam get less of so

Obscene of first conditional exam in condition of this absences causes permanent removes

In other hand without learning of break and absence of lesson semester

From students and lack of completing average in third turns provided in third same semester causes of getting   of students

Two times failures from half credits in the same causes the permanent sending out of students

Break:

Current students in entire education term just one tie can get academic break for one year

In accomplishment of break for students that absence encounter to deprivation not valid

Students in one semester reclusion in some semester doesn’t the right of break midterm exam semester

It is given an exam in the middle of semester in every subject’s middle exam semester function the number of themes is the same semester and does not exceed a maximum of fifteen days the second chance of the middle exam ends usually within a week.

First chance second chance

The second chance exam conditional first is taken in the last two weeks and does not exceed days students are included and in the first conditional exam scoring less than 3% on less than three final exam subject taken

Second conditional chance third chances

  1. Students include of the exam is taken less score from 50 to conditional exam or in one subject to be absent
  2. Students who allowed to obtain in condition exam second chance but there for they have not presented they included a second conditional examination if their absence has not resulted in a examination
  3. The second conditional examination is completed within the first ten days of the start of the semester
  4. Students who have earned the right to be included in the second chance of the third chance exam will continue their current semester courses until the result is announced

Revise the exam result and its time:

  1. The appeal shall be determined by the faculty academic council and shall include a general out come not later than three days offer the date of notification
  2. Whenever a student has the right to appeal the result of his or her exam must submit her request for discitis faction in wiring and without delay after the final exam has been announced for up to three days
  3. Appeals are made by the examination committee in the presence of the claimants’ master and the final decision of the committee
  4. If the student doesn’t have more than one content the subject will be revised first if you get higher score, then you next theme will be revised in other hand revise of subject wouldn’t have the next credibility.

Grading category:

100- 90= A

80-89= B

79-70= C

55-69= D

1-55= Failed

Writing a monograph and its importance:

Writing of monograph in one the fundamental work that students should take care in their graduation. Monograph is a scientific work which is taken place by an advisor teacher. In semester eight students should start the monograph writing. In prior, selection of title and then the title submit by one of the department’s member. Students could opt their advisor teacher. The department’s approved title is recorded in the monograph register and after the final semester of the final exam. A monograph defense program is launched. Without defense of monograph the students are not graduated and does not qualify for bachelor degree the medical faculties is not exception and does not have a monograph defense but rather a post-graduate students exam in the name of the exit exam. The process of obtaining academic documents from Mawlana university:
